Our extensive knowledge of sustainable production and the involvement with local farmers did not come into existence overnight. Neuteboom Coffeeroasters wrote history in the past by being the first to roast Fairtrade coffee (Max Havelaar) in the Netherlands. It might be difficult to imagine, but we got some pretty weird looks when we made this decision 30 years ago. Right now, almost every company takes socially responsible behaviour and sustainable business very serious. Even after all those years, we still like to take the lead and fight global warming by saying no to the use of synthetic pesticides and fertiliser. We only involve ourselves in ideas that we really support. In this way we can provide our customers with only the best products.
